A Little About Rick...
Rick was born in Bethesda, Maryland. He has two older sisters, four younger sisters and one younger brother (yes, a big family!). Rick's father was in the Navy, and growing up he lived in Washington D.C., Chicago, St. Louis, Houston, Tucson, Phoenix and even spent five years living off the coast of Spain. As a boy he loved music, especially guitar. He also enjoyed building model airplanes, playing soccer and football and swimming, especially in the ocean when he lived in Spain.

Rick is an amazing and very involved father. After Bella was born, Christi was critically ill. Rick took on the care of both of them, feeding Bella every bottle, changing every diaper, rocking her to sleep and responding to her every need, as well as caring for Christi during her recovery. His total dedication to his family has never changed. Whatever it is, Rick is always there. You can find him reading a story to Bella's class, riding her favorite ride (Space Mountain) as many times as she wants, catching her as she does cannon balls into the swimming pool, coaching her soccer team or helping her with her homework. He very much looks forward to being just as dedicated to his second child.

Rick is extremely passionate about anything that he puts his mind to. He has worked in the computer industry for many years and enjoys the challenges that technology brings. He works very hard to provide a wonderful life for his family. Fortunately he has very steady hours, working 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. As soon as he walks in the door each night, Bella is thrilled to see him and greets him with a big "Daddy's Home Hug!" as she calls it. He never misses a special event of Bella's, and can work from home when he needs to. He even gets away for lunch some days, surprising Bella with a visit to her school cafeteria. He is a fabulous father and husband!
